Art Dolls

I started creating Art Dolls in 1998. They have been published several times in the prestigious Magazine Art Doll Quarterly and other international publications. 

They are a composite of faces and sometimes hands and feet that are hand sculpted in fine porcelain clay, fired in a kiln and hand painted with China Paint. Their bodies are made of different types of fabric, vintage lace, yarn and embellished with silk flowers, rhinestones, antique jewelry, metal embossings and findings, and natural materials such as: seashells, gemstones, rocks, crystals, wood branches, vintage feathers... The Art Dolls' time has come and gone, I no longer create them.
